I have been dancing since I was 8 years old and singing since I was 6. In 2006 at Hitchin's Rhythm's of the world festival I bent Ken's (The Jive Aces' Double Bass Player) arm about learning to play and he offered to lend me a bass to learn to play with. By that October I had a Bass Teacher and was quickly learning to play, then by the February of 2007 I had my very own swing band who were all in my year at school and we were The Jive-Ettz!
   

 I am currently taking my major grades in dance and will be taking my teaching qualifications in spring 2011. I have been teaching Tap, Ballet, Modern jazz and street dance for 3 years to the younger students at the dance studios I train at, and will carry this on at a higher level once I am fully qualified.
 I also taught the childrens classes in 2009 at The Twinwood Festival & will be teaching there again in August 2010.

  I have been dancing Lindy Hop with my mum and step-dad since I was 8 and have attended many weekenders and workshops with the best teachers & choreographers from all over the world. I have also competed in many talent contests, some in dance and some as a musician, in doing so I have won cash prizes and also recording studio time.

I have always been involved in performing arts in different ways. I have been involved in every school play since nursery including lead roles in many of them. I have performed in Stevenage's Gordon Craig theatre on many occasions with the Litton Players and with stage coach.
  I have performed with C.A.D.S (corvus, amateur drama society) many times in Royston during panto season.

I trained at a small theatre school for 2 years, at theatre train for a year and at stagecoach for 7 years.

I have my bronze and silver medals in Drama for the L.A.M.D.A board. and I have medals from trinity in performing arts which I did whilst at stagecoach.

 I have been having dance lessons & dance exam grades with Stage Right Studios in Royston since I was 8 and I will be taking my teaching qualifications there when I turn 18 next year. I was a member of their competition troupe and competed in many competitions doing group work and solo's especially in Tap! I was always a part of the Stage Right annual show and as I was in so many classes that meant lots of routines in the show with lots of extremely quick changes.

I have also performed in many venues all over England and Wales with the Jive Aces and I hope to play in many more countries.
