Hop 'Til U Drop - Jive & Swing Dance nights took place twice a year (spring & autumn) at The Weatherley Centre in Biggleswade. We had been holding these dance nights at this venue since 2007, before that in Royston since 2003. Due to the poor turn out at this venue in recent years, we have decided to pull the plug on this dance event, as the financial losses were too great. We always booked the hottest live six or seven piece jump jive & swing bands around & will still carry on booking these great bands at "The Sugar Town Strut" in Risby village hall as long as we get a good turn out for the event. A "Big Thanks" to everyone that supported this event over the years, especially the Weatherley Centre staff for their help. |
