 Firstly I hope you are all having a great Summer, do keep an eye out for some great Festivals, Summertime Swing on the 7th with the Jive Aces, several 40's & 50's themed events including Atomic, Hanger Dances & Twinwood during August something for everyone!
 We have a terrific Band for you this Friday the 5th August Greggi G & his Crazy Gang at our monthly Rhythm Joint in Newmarket, do come & join us for a fab' night of dancing!
We have a fantastic 50's R&B roots band from Bournmouth: Miss Annie & The Midnight Shift coming for our Hop 'Til U Drop on the 8th October in Biggleswade & Si Cranstoun & His Band for Risby in November tickets are hot get yours! don't forget support these dance nights or they really can't keep happening, we have had to subsidise several of them now through clashes even though we book a year ahead! A lot of work goes into running events and band's expect a decent wage too! The dance nights are very entertaining even if you are a beginner a great way to gain confidence!
 Please support our Lindy Hop classes we put on for you & both our classes do not have a summer break, instead we prepare a new routine for each group every week giving you plenty of variety to expand your dancing knowledge & we try to keep the halls nice and cool too!
 There seems to be confusion about Lindy Hop courses, you can do the beginners course as many times as you wish and progress at your own speed into the next level, so when a term ends you can do it all again alongside the next level at no extra cost, you will then lean to use your basics and add lots of fun stuff to your dancing!
For those who are new my daughter Hayley Faulkner who has been performing for many years with The Jive Aces has now released her first track on all media outlets she wrote it & was chosen as track of the week on BBC three counties radio a couple of weeks ago, the song is called "Storms a Coming" & it's a super up tempo song, do download it!
