planning
to
keep

dancing!
First
we
are
putting
on
a
Steeple
Swing
out at
the
end
of
February
a
great
social
night
for
all.
Followed
by
an
Improvers
Sunday
workshop.
Then
we
have
our
Spring
Hop
'til
U
Drop
Swing
Dance
with
the
Amazing
Si
Cranstoun
(I
can't
wait!)
and
we
are
waiting
on
bands
for
an
Easter
bash
too!
We
are also
teaching
at(
Warners
)
Boogaloo's
Jump
Jive
'n'Boogie
weekend
at
Hayling
Island
at
the
end
of
March
with
great
Bands
including:
The Jive Aces, Oo-Bop-Sh'Bam, Pete G & The Magnitones, Ding Dong Daddios,
The Regular Joes, it's
going
to
be
a
great
weekend
with
lovely
food
too!

Hayley
finally
had
the
chance
to
record
a
song

Sandman)
on
their
"it's
Skiffle
Time"
EP
and
it
sounds
beautiful,
it
is

the
Jive
Aces
obviously
and
a

is
on

Hayley
also
received
a
standing
ovation
and
her
own
encore
at
Ronnie
Scott's
and
is
performing
there
again

the

Cambridge
has
also
taken

Hayley

been

Marchant
show
&
is
going
again
back
soon!
Improvers
Sunday
Workshop:
We
will
be
doing
another
Improver
Level
Workshop
at
Steeple
Morden.
Due
to
90%
of
the
folks
who
came
to
the
last
workshop
usually
come
to
our
regular
classes
we
have
decided
to
keep
these
workshops
at
Steeple
Morden
and
not
at
Over
as
in
the
past.
Just
the
basic
patterns
needed
to
do
the
workshop,
as
it
is
aimed
to
work
on
Connections
&
Frames,
Lead
&
Follow
Techniques
to
improve
your
styling
and
help
with
your
understanding
of
6
&
8
count
moves
with
some
snazzy
stuff
thrown
in!
With
four
hours
you
will
benefit
enormously
from
this.
Due
to
popular
demand
we
will
be
doing
another
original
1920's
Partnered
Charleston Workshop
later
in
the
spring!
Then
we
have
our
Spring
"Hop
'til
U
Drop" Swing
Dance
A
first
for
us
and
this
guy
is
really
popular
right
now
known
as
the
Golden
Boy
&
Mr
Dynamo
"Si
Cranstoun
and
his
Band" are
awesome!
With
rhythm
influences
of
Ska
and
Rock'n'Roll,
mixed
with
a
voice
which
comes
from
the
great
sound
of
60's
soul,
likened
to
greats
such
as
Jackie
Wilson
&
Sam
Cooke,
Si
Cranstoun
is
amazing
to
see
and
fantastic
to
dance
to,
his
music
brings
the
old
and
the
new
together
with
a
unique
sound
not
to
be
missed!
