Welcome to Lindy Hop in
Steeple Morden & Risby

 Come & Learn to dance the Lindy Hop, the oldest, most exciting & stylish form of swing dancing around. Original Savoy Style Lindy Hop swing-jive dance classes. We run four absolute beginners courses a year, giving everyone a chance to learn the basics, these are open to all and great fun on your own or as a couple. followed by an Intermediate class which are fun yet challenging every week!
Tuesday in a lovely wooden floored village hall set in a beautiful little village of Steeple Morden, on the Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire border, off the A505 between Royston & Letchworth / Baldock  (Click for Google Map)
Every Wednesday in the very large wooden floored village hall, set in the beautiful little village of Risby, just off the A14 (Junction 41) west of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk (Click for Google Map) with experienced Lindy Hoppers teachers Paul & Debbie Jackson.

We also run a monthly social Swing Dance at Newmarket "Rhythm Joint" every 1st Friday of the month. Spring & Autumn Live Band nights "Sugar Town Strut" at Risby. All events with Paul our DJ playing the best tracks in 40's/50's R&B, Swing & Jazz. Look out for Sunday swing dance workshops in Lindy Hop, Jazz Dance & Original 1920's Partner Charleston to the Swing & Jazz sounds of the era.


  Due to latest government guide lines on the
coronavirus, we feel we have no option but to close
all Lindy Hop classes and events until further notice.

Latest update: We hope to run our Improver & Intermediate Lindy Hop Classes at Risby only
from September 2020.
With strict limited numbers, pre booked couples,
social distancing and safety guidlines.

We hope to re-start Risby Beginners Lindy Hop
Courses in October 2020.
Unfortunatly restrictions don't allow for
Steeple Morden classes to open just yet.
